Another Batch of New Bakers in the Making

For the second year running the local first school had a food week to celebrate harvest festival, Derek Woods (managing director of Woods Bakery Ltd) agreed to help the year 1 and 2 children make some bread. Over 2 mornings nearly 80 pupils had hands on experience of making products from Knots, plaits and rolls to the more adventurous snakes, aliens and even a dragon's eye. The children had a fantastic time and got to take their creations home for tea. There are some pictures of the bread fest on the schools website.

We at Woods Bakery have been toying with the idea of a website for a while now, but didn't know the best way to go about it, then we had a meeting with John Holden, from Activ Web Design, who has made the process easy, we supplied the information and left the rest to him. The result is fantastic and at a fixed price.
